Welcome to Fifth Grade! I grew up in Cave Creek, Arizona.  I attended Black Mountain Elementary, DAMS, and Cactus Shadows HS.  I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2003. This is my nineteenth year teaching fifth grade at Lone Mountain Elementary. 

In my free time, I like to read, camp, spend time with my dogs and travel.  Fifth grade is an exciting and challenging year of learning. Students will begin switching classes for the first time and will see each teacher for different subjects. I look forward to getting to know each of you this year.
