Important Spring Parent/Athlete Message

Dear Falcon and Stinger families of spring sport athletes,
Thank you for being patient during these unprecedented times as we navigate through uncharted waters. We hope this letter finds you and your family healthy and safe.
Arizona Governor Doug Ducey announced on Monday, March 30th the cessation of all on-campus learning at the state’s schools through the spring semester. This decision includes all school-sponsored extracurricular sports and activities. As such, the remainder of the AIA spring season and championships have been canceled. This includes all of our middle school athletic programs as well.
With the cancellation of the spring season comes a lot of questions. We have been working with district leadership and finance to devise a plan on how we can best provide refunds to those who request one and are eligible. As you know, the middle school and high school athletic programs are supported entirely by the athletic fees. In lieu of a refund, we would gladly accept the other half as a donation to the athletics department. Being almost at the halfway mark of the season, we will provide a 50% refund to those who request and qualify (see below).
Paid using Tax Credit: does not qualify. Those who paid using tax credit are not eligible for a refund from the school since it is a donation that you claim on your Arizona taxes and you will have your money returned from the state by means of a tax refund.
Paid Cash or Credit Card: does qualify. A refund of 50% of the season fee will be given to those who paid this way. This will be done through district finance and the reimbursement will be mailed to you. Please follow this link to complete the form requesting a refund: CCUSD Spring Sport Refund Request

*Spring sports uniforms will be collected at a later date so please stay tuned on when that will be and how that will look. We will be reaching out to our coaches and coming up with plans on how we can get pictures, and any team gear ordered out to those who need them.

The username for general payments is the email address you provided when you registered your student for school.
