Ms. Mineweaser

Hello! My name is Ms. Mineweaser and I am looking forward to a fabulous year in fourth grade! While I am a teacher now, I was once a student at Lone Mountain as well. I was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona and then attended Mary Lou Fulton Teacher's College and Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University. When I am not at school I love to be active and spend time with my family and friends. Some of my favorite pasttimes include hiking, shopping, and attending sporting events... Go Cardinals! I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade at Lone Mountain again this year. Let the learning begin!

  • My Educational Philosophy

My personal philosophy of teaching relies on the foundation of building relationships with my students. Flip Flippin, Founder and Chairman of Capturing Kids Hearts stated, “If you have a child’s heart, you have their mind. If you don’t have a child’s heart, you have no business messing with their mind.” My goal as a teacher is to capture each student’s heart before I even try teaching their mind. In my classroom, we are one community full of learners who grow together both academically and socially. My classroom foundation is built on positive reinforcement and a positive attitude.
