Hello Second Graders and Families,

 My name is Natalie May, and I am thrilled to be your 2nd grade teacher this year.  I was born and raised in Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University in 2006 (Go Devils!).  This will be my fourteenth year teaching in Cave Creek, and my thirteenth year teaching 2nd Grade.

My husband and I have three awesome daughters named Bailey (11), Brooklyn (9), and Brielle (7).  We also have a crazy goldendoodle named Luna and a desert tortoise named Katy. I love sports, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.  

 

Educational Philosophy

  • I believe that my job as an educator is to teach my students to be thinkers, collaborators, and problem-solvers.  I am so fortunate to share my love of learning with you and look forward to a year with a strong classroom community, academic achievement, and lots of fun.
