Black Mountain Elementary

Hi, I’m Ms. Perron, but for the children, I’m Ms. Lynn, Head Preschool Teacher, along with my amazing assistant Ms. D.

I am so excited about this school year at Black Mountain Elementary!

This will be my 11th year teaching preschool and I honestly feel like I have the best job ever! 

I am a Northern Arizona University graduate with my Bachelor's & Certification in Early Childhood Education from Birth through 3rd grade. Go Lumberjacks!

Outside of school, I am a proud mom to 3 children: Kyle (18) who is off to ASU this year, Laney (16), and Samantha (14). We love to go to Huntington Beach and Knotts Berry Farm to ride the roller coasters. We also look for fun things to do here in Arizona, like camping, hiking, and horseback riding. 

Child’s Play Preschool aligns its curriculum with the Arizona Department of Education's Early Learning Standards. This curriculum focuses on the whole child, emphasizing the ability to interact with other children, adults, and materials within an environment of play. Children participate in various project-based activities, guided investigations, and the use of materials that are concrete and relevant to the lives of young children. The emphasis is on the process, not the product. I will be working closely with our Kindergarten team as well to ensure that your children are ready to move to kindergarten and be the best they can be!

For my students, let me say we are going to have so much fun learning, exploring, laughing, and growing together.
